DJ Funkmaster Flex verbally assaulted R. Kelly last night over his well-publicized interview on BET.
As previously reported by Yo! Raps, R. Kelly sat down with BET's Toure on Monday night for his first post-trial interview. When asked if he likes teenage girls, Kelly asked in response "How old are we talking."
Apparently, Funkmaster Flex didn't appreciate Kelly's comments as he launch a full on verbal assault on the R&B singer calling him a "ridiculous" pediphile.
"I'm here to talk about something that's serious," Flex said in the beginning of his rant. "I'm here to talk about dude being on the TV talking about, 'What do you mean by teenagers.'"
"... me and other DJs, other people on TV, we're all to blame for this dude feeling comfortable enough to go on TV and do an interview talking about, you know, he likes 19-year-olds," he continued.
Flex went on to publicly slam Kelly's claims that it was not him on the now infamous sex tape.
"And actually the interview was a waste of time cuz I don't even understand. You was on tape, OK," he said. "We're not talking about hearsay... event though your manager, your own brother, and all your other family members and everybody else said what you do. Butyou are on take, fam. And you can say that's not you on the tape but it is. And because you got away with it is why you're talking so reckless."
"Nobody should have their daughter or their kids around you, fam. I'll tell youto your face. I hope you get to see this cuz I really want you to see this. You are ridiculous, you need help and you should seek help!"
Expressing his obvious negative feelings about Kelly and the whole situation, Flex went on to say he feels Kelly will "continue to do this." He said that he feels like the situation is his (and everybody else's) fault for "not speaking up and giving their opinion on what we think he is and what you are."
At press time, Kelly had yet to publicly address Flex's comments.
